The state Department of Children and Family Services is urging all EBT cardholders to change their PIN numbers, following the discovery of numerous card-skimming devices across Louisiana.
The scam involves a skimmer that is attached to legitimate card readers at banks, gas stations, and convenience stores, and identity thieves take the personal data for their own use.
There are no reports of any cardholders' benefits having been stolen
