Authorities in Kenner say a driver crashed into a shopping center on Tuesday.
According to WVUE-TV, a 78-year-old man was trying to park in front of a physical therapy office on West Esplanade Avenue when his vehicle went forward and slammed into the building.
Police said the man turned the vehicle around and reversed, then jumped the curb and went through an optical office next door.
The man was reportedly witnessed trying to drive away, but was stopped by officers. Nobody was injured.
