COVID cases are on the increase in New Orleans and elsewhere in the state.

Dr. Benjamin Springgate with LSU Health New Orleans says it's not time to worry yet, since the new cases aren't overwhelming the health system as they did a few years ago.

The CDC says COVID hospitalizations and positive test results are on the rise nationwide.

The Louisiana Department of Health says COVID hospitalizations have more than doubled since mid-June.
