A suspect in the killing of an employee of Mandina's restaurant is awaiting extradition from Texas after his arrest on Monday.
U.S. Marshals and the NOPD Violent Offender Warrant Squad took 22-year-old Kyron Fazande into custody at a home in Houston.
Late last month, a 23-year-old waiter at the restaurant was killed in an apparently targeted shooting, and a woman was wounded by a stray bullet.
Fazande will be charged with second-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder, and aggravated battery.
