Hurricane Forecasters Watching Tropical Wave In Eastern Atlantic

The National Hurricane Center is watching a tropical wave in the eastern Atlantic Ocean for signs of future development.

"Environmental conditions could become conducive for gradual development of this system by early next week as the disturbance moves westward at around 15 mph over the tropical Atlantic," said the NHC Thursday morning.

There are no other potential areas of tropical development at this time.

The 2022 Atlantic hurricane season ends November 30.
