New Orleans City Council Holds Cantrell Top Aides In Contempt

Two top aides of New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell are being held in contempt of council.

The City Council unanimously approved the motions today saying Clifton Davis and Arthur Walton should have responded to a subpoena.

Councilmembers are investigating the scuttled "smart city" project and whether city officials were involved in contract-fixing.

Davis and Walton could be charged with a misdemeanor.
