Louisiana to Receive Nearly $1 Billion For Road & Bridge Repairs

Louisiana will receive nearly $1 billion from the federal government to repair bridges and roads around the state.

The funding will be paid out over five years and comes from the massive infrastructure bill Congress approved last year.

There are more than 1,600 bridges listed in poor condition and more than 5,000 in fair condition in Louisiana.
