Even Santa is getting in on the act of making sure kids are vaccinated against the coronavirus.
The Louisiana Department of Health says 211 children were vaccinated at the "Shots for Santa" event on Tuesday at City Park's City Putt. In addition, 90 adults also rolled up their sleeves.
Each vaccinated person received a free $100 gift card, along with a free ticket to the driving tour of Celebration in the Oaks.
