The Louisiana Department of Health reported an additional 230 cases of COVID-19 Monday.
The total number of reported cases was 168,512 following the daily removal of newly discovered duplicates and out-of-state cases by LDH.
State health officials also reported nine additional deaths, bringing the total blamed on the coronavirus to 5,387.
Hospitalizations went up by 29 to 547, with the number of patients on ventilators up three to 71.
