The city is ranking high in crime once again.
According to a City Council consultant's analysis of FBI data released this week, New Orleans stood fourth among America's deadliest large cities in 2019.
According to the data, the city recorded a total of 121 slayings last year.
A sampling of unofficial homicide stats for 2020 shows New Orleans will likely still be in the top 5 when the audited data for the year is released around this time in 2021.
