Slidell Ends Mandatory Curfew, But Asks Residents To Continue To Stay Home

Slidell is ending a mandatory curfew effective immediately while asking residents to continue to adhere to the governor's stay-at-home order.

The Slidell Police Department posted on Facebook Monday night that the curfew put in place more than two weeks ago was being lifted.

In their post, officials asked people to continue to use common sense, practice social distancing, wash hands, and wear face masks in public.

The statewide stay-at-home order is set to expire on April 30th.
