Officials say Louisiana has now seen a six-day streak of single-digit growth, which could mean the state has reached its peak for the virus or at the least a plateau.

Louisiana continues to lead the country with one of the highest rates of testing, but Governor Edwards has said more needs to be done, and social distancing is working.
