Mayor Cantrell To Jurors: Stay Away From The Courthouse Due To Coronavirus

New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell is telling residents who have been selected for jury duty not to report to the courthouse.

Cantrell posted on Facebook yesterday, saying the measure was being taken in an effort to eliminate potential exposure to COVID-19 coronavirus.

Cantrell also said those who have been selected on Friday to appear for juror empanelment are strongly encouraged to qualify online.
