Grammy nominations are in and some of New Orleans' finest made it to the big stage in music.
In the nominations announced yesterday, P.J. Morton, who won his first Grammy this year for his song "How Deep Is Your Love", was nominated again this year for three awards.
Local R&B artists Lucky Daye received four nominations and is up against Morton in three categories including, Best R&B Performance, Best R&B Song, and Best R&B Album.
This year's breakout group, Tank and the Bangas, are also nominated for their first Grammy Award in the Best New Artist category.
The 62nd Grammy Awards will take place Sunday, January 26th.
