A group founded to help the families of 9/11 first responders says they will pay off the mortgage on the house of fallen Mandeville Police Captain Vincent Liberto.
The Tunnel to Towers Foundation announced yesterday they would be providing the money as a gift to Liberto's wife and seven children.
The Tunnel to Towers Foundation was formed to honor and support first responders, veterans, and their families who have undergone severe loss or financial hardship.
Liberto served with the Mandeville Police Department for 25-years and also served in the U.S. Marines.
