The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a man yesterday afternoon in Metairie.
Deputies responded on Monday around 4 p.m. to a call of shots fired near South Wilson Street.
Officials say they found a 38-year-old male victim with multiple gunshot wounds who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The JPSO did not release the identity of the victim and are asking anyone with information on the shooting to contact them immediately.
