Suspect's BAC In Death Of Bicyclists More Than Twice Legal Limit

The State Police Crime Lab says that the man accused of hitting nine bicyclists in New Orleans with his car earlier this month, killing two of them, was intoxicated at the time of the crash.

The blood-alcohol content of Tashonty Toney is estimated to have been .215 when his Camaro hit the group on Esplanade Avenue the night of the Endymion parade on Mardi Gras weekend.

Toney is facing multiple counts of vehicular homicide and negligent injuring. His bond is set at just over a half-million-dollars.
