Governor Returns To Louisiana Today After Week-Long Trip To Israel

Governor John Bel Edwards is returning to Louisiana today after leading a delegation from the state on a week-long visit to Israel.

The Advocate reports he and the others wrapped up discussions with business and government leaders yesterday, along the way visiting numerous cultural and historical sites.

Edwards met with the nation's prime minister on Wednesday.

One of the goals of the trip was to further economic ties between Israel and Louisiana.
