The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office will be conducting a DWI Checkpoint over the Labor Day weekend at an undisclosed location in the parish.
It's part of their ongoing campaign "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" to fight against driving while impaired.
The DWI checkpoint is being funded by a grant from the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission. Officials hope these checkpoints help deter people from drinking and driving.
