A new study is reporting Louisiana is among the worst states to have a baby.
WalletHub looked at 26 key measures such as cost, health care accessibility and baby-friendliness.
Louisiana comes in at number 48 overall on the list, in front of only South Carolina, Alabama and Mississippi.
Although Louisiana is among one of the best states for the lowest average annual cost of infant-care, they are among the states with the highest infant mortality rate, fewest OB-GYN's per capita and the fewest pediatricians.
