A woman is in custody after attempting to rob a Liberty Bank in New Orleans Tuesday.
Officials say the woman approached a teller at the bank saying her child was being held hostage outside. She placed a yellow bag on the counter and said it was a bomb that would be detonated by those holding her child if the bag wasn't filled with money.
The woman fled the scene on foot without any cash and was later arrested.
