That federal tax cut approved by Congress late last year will lead to a rollback in rates for Entergy Louisiana customers.
The Louisiana Public Service Commission approved the utility's rate-reduction plan Wednesday that will result in a nearly 5% savings beginning with bills being sent out next month.
Another rate decrease of close to the same amount will occur in October after the payoff of loans for storm recovery.
