Louisiana drivers are enjoying the slow fall of gas prices after being knocked for an economic loop when they spiked after Hurricane Harvey.

AAA reports the statewide average price of regular has dropped to $2.36 a gallon.  While that's down another two cents in a week's time, it's still 22 cents higher compared to a month ago.

Regular is currently averaging $2.30 a gallon in Baton Rouge and $2.34 a gallon in New Orleans.
