Man Found Not Guilty In Killing Of Student

A man is no longer facing serious time behind bars after being found not guilty last night of killing a teenage girl more than five years ago in retaliation for his brother's death.

NOLA.com/The Times-Picayune reports an Orleans Parish jury refused to convict 22-year-old Eric Adams on kidnapping and murder charges in the death of 15-year-old Christine Marcelin, a student at KIPP Believe College Prep.

The jury did find him guilty of obstruction of justice.
