The LSU Tigers baseball team is returning to Baton Rouge without a championship after falling to the Florida Gators in Omaha.
They fell to the Gators last night in a 6-1 final, taking two consecutive back-to-back games in the best-of-three College World Series. The loss is the first time the Tigers baseball team made it to the championship but failed to clinch a title after last winning in 2009.
The championship title is the first for the Florida Gators baseball team.
